these birthmarks

let’s please discuss
something other than this
cold plate of spaghetti as
the shattered vase with the
wilted willows watches us
so sullenly.

plane crash

it fell
from the sky, it did
right through the
unassuming clouds and
into my sights

there was nothing
I could do and
it found the ocean just fine.

Persona of Frank Sinatra

My way
My way
With every note I sing
is a serenade to woo you
These days
now a days
the 40’s and 50’s
Swing Time!
Just a snap of my fingers
will get you swing’in
My way
My way
With a flash of my teeth you fall hard and fast
You adore me
Fawn over me
But you cannot have me
The twinkle of my eye
Wonderful yes
& handsome yes
I am
See what the exterior shows
& see what the interior holds
& sing
& dance
A silver tongue
I have
My way
My movies suggest
That everything’s better
My way
