A.V.Santhosh Kumar, a Fulbright scholar of the U.S. Govt, author of the books Bekkal, Jeevithathinte Alchemy, (collection of stories) Nyayathi (collection of poems) works as a teacher at A.U.P.S. Udinur Central, at Kasargod district, Kerala State. He has contributed to the production of text books in English for the State of Kerala. He has got Post Graduation in English and Sociology.
